Posts: 1 02/15/12 8:07 PM Executive Editor SoxProspects.com	Tags : None Hi everyone, We just wanted to alert members of the SoxProspects.com forum of some news: First off, we've welcomed jmei and Yirmiyahu on as new moderators. They join senior moderators amfox1 and chavopepe2, and returning moderator Lippa91 on the forum moderating staff in encouraging discussion and enforcing the ground rules. Welcome to the staff jmei and Yirmiyahu! Also, as more of a heads-up, starting today, members of the site ownership will be posting to the forum from new accounts. The new accounts are pretty obvious - Mike Andrews, Chris Mellen, and SPChrisHatfield - so there shouldn't be an issue, but we wanted to call attention to the change so as to not cause confusion. (And if you're wondering, yes, I shed a tear for the Arquimedez Bozo account name, but sometimes we need to move on...) Thanks to everyone for making this such a great and vibrant community! We really take pride in the level of posting have here compared to many other sites, and appreciate the contributions from each member, whether you post often or rarely, as well as those who choose only to read the forum. Things are starting to ramp up for the season (finally!), so if you've been sitting on the sidelines, now's a great time to jump in and join the discussion! On a side note There's a story behind the Arquimedez Bozo name is there not? I briefly heard it mentioned once but don't know the whole story so this might be my last opportunity to ask what the story is. Isn't it a reference to a former sox player or something?

Dan Duquette signed a 2b/3b out of the Mariners organization around 1996 or so named Arquimedez Pozo. He had a little bit of pop in his bat, but showed next to nothing with the Sox, so he didn't last long - his name was more memorable than his performance. So it probably has to do with that and Pozo becoming Bozo.

Regardless Bozo is still a funnier name.
