To me, 1, and 3 are a given.
The bigger question is how John Henry feels about all of this. His natural bent is financial numbers and models, so Theo's quantitative approach appealed to him. I cannot believe he will radically move away from that. However, having Theo write check after check for little value, Henry has to ask the questions. I think he may allow Theo to go elsewhere, and get someone who relies less on new models to value major league players.
I am ambivalent about a whole shakeup, because I think the team has sufficient resources that will sustain them.
