Rankings Voting
It's the time you've all been waiting for - the time to voice your vote on the 2011 Red Sox prospect rankings. You know the drill - rank your top 40 Red Sox prospects. Please keep the discussion to a minimum in this particular thread - this thread is specifically for taking and tallying everybody's rankings. Discussion of the rankings can go in the Meta Sub-Forum. Criteria for rankings should be your opinion of each prospect's "expected value" at the big league level, not solely based on ceiling. If you want some generic guidance on the site's rankings philosophies, check out the FAQ entry on prospect rankings. However, we're not going to set any strict guidelines as to how you should rank prospects, except that we do ask that you follow one rule - please only vote for eligible prospects and do not exclude players from eligibility based on your own criteria. This is because we want to keep the pool of players the same across the board, so some members aren't over-excluding or over-including certain players. In order to keep it consistent, if you vote for an ineligible player, your vote will not be tallied. In that case, we will do our best to work with you to fix up your entry before the voting ends.
Eligibility
Prospect eligibility is now based solely on MLB rookie status, with some discretion. Most players who have exhausted their MLB rookie status are not eligible. As for exceptions, we are exercising our discretion to keep Ryan Kalish among the eligible prospects this spring, because: (1) he only barely passed the rookie threshold; (2) he's only 23; (3) he's likely to start the season in Pawtucket and spend ample time there barring injuries; and (4) he still feels like a prospect. In keeping with our new policy from the off-season, players will no longer be deemed ineligible solely because of age. Also, players who are not in the organization as of March 21 are not eligible. That would include Cesar Cabral, should he be returned to the organization while the voting remains open.
To keep this easy, the following players are eligible:
William Abreu, Ynoel Aguero, Raul Alcantara, Mario Alcantara, Michael Almanzar, Anthony Amaya, Lars Anderson, Nelson Arguila, Chris Balcom-Miller, Luis Bastardo, Aaron Bates, Anatanaer Batista, Jeremiah Bayer, Bubba Bell, Ronald Bermudez, Ricardo Betancourt, Beau Bishop, Carson Blair, Jair Bogaerts, Xander Bogaerts, Sully Bonnelly, Michael Bowden, Bryce Brentz, Drake Britton, Michael Bugary, Charlis Burdie, Dan Butler, Ariel Cabral, Yeiper Castillo, Garin Cecchini, Miguel Celestino, Hunter Cervenka, Chih-Hsien Chiang, Caleb Clay, Jose Colorado, Keith Couch, Chris Court, Bryce Cox, Sean Coyle, Enrique Cuevas, Eric Curtis, Zach Daeges, Jacob Dahlstrand, Trygg Danforth, Keury De La Cruz, Robert Del Rosario, Mitch Dening, Ryan Dent, Luis Diaz, Brent Dlugach, Drew Dominguez, Curtney Doran, Felix Doubront, Roberto Duncan, Tom Ebert, Justin Erasmus, Leonel Escobar, Rafael Espinoza, Luis Exposito, Tim Federowicz, Kyle Fernandes, Stephen Fife, Jordan Flasher, Matthew Fox, Stephen Fox, Vladimir Frias, Joantoni Garcia, Jose Garcia, Jason Garcia, Edwar Garcia, Seth Garrison, Zach Gentile, Derrik Gibson, Mike Gleason, Sergio Gomez, Miguel Gonzalez, Aly Gonzalez, Dreily Guerrero, Mike Hacker, Ryan Harvey, Alex Hassan, Jeremy Hazelbaker, Miles Head, Drew Hedman, Jon Hee, Jayson Hernandez, Chris Hernandez, Mitch Herold, Pete Hissey, Willie Holmes, Tommy Hottovy, Jennel Hudson, Swen Huijer, Brock Huntzinger, Adalberto Ibarra, Jose Iglesias, Brandon Jacobs, Iago Januario, Jorge Jimenez, Elis Jimenez, Kris Johnson, Matty Johnson, Ryan Kalish, James Kang, Zach Kapstein, Jeremy Kehrt, Ryan Khoury, John Killen, Matt Kramer, TJ Large, Will Latimer, Ryan Lavarnway, Ryne Lawson, Lucas LeBlanc, Mike Lee, Che-Hsuan Lin, Juan Linares, Tyler Lockwood, Denier Lopez, Jesus Loya, Santo Luis, David Mailman, Leandro Marin, Chris Martin, Alex Mateo, Blake Maxwell, Lance McClain, Heiker Meneses, Will Middlebrooks, Ryne Miller, Adam Mills, Moko Moanaroa, Boss Moanaroa, Francelis Montas, Yamaico Navarro, Dennis Neuman, Nefi Ogando, Yunior Ortega, Edwin Osorio, Jorge Padron, Renny Parthemore, Josue Peley, Pedro Perez, Oscar Perez, Bryan Peterson, Matt Phillips, Kelvin Pichardo, Wilfred Pichardo, Stolmy Pimentel, Jeremias Pineda, Carlos Pinales, Jason Place, Eammon Portice, Ryan Pressly, Mathew Price, Roberto Ramos, Henry Ramos, Anthony Ranaudo, Garrett Rau, Josh Reddick, David Renfroe, Roberto Reyes, Pedro Reyes, Ryne Reynoso, Jason Rice, Manny Rivera, Nick Robinson, Reynaldo Rodriguez, Juan Rodriguez, Ken Roque, Charlie Rosario, Pete Ruiz, Derward Ruiz, Felix Sanchez, Clevelan Santeliz, Seth Schwindenhammer, Matt Sheely, Itsuki Shoda, David Sopilka, Ramon Soto, Alfredo Soto, Nate Spears, Matt Spring, Kyle Stroup, Scott Swinson, Aneury Tavarez, Francisco Taveras, Junichi Tazawa, Oscar Tejeda, Tony Thomas, Jason Thompson, Juan Ugas, Luis Urena, Will Vazquez, Christian Vazquez, Raynel Velette, Jose Vinicio, Kolbrin Vitek, Kendal Volz, Mark Wagner, Kyle Weiland, Kendrick Weiland, Ryan Westmoreland, Shannon Wilkerson, Alex Wilson, Tyler Wilson, Brandon Workman, Madison Younginer

Thanks and have fun.
