Thank you for another great interview. He's a very interesting kid who's a long, long way from home. My wife and I hope to visit Taiwan again, with the same friends who asked us to go two years ago. If we do, we really want to visit the Pacific side. It's completely different from the Western plain that has most of the population and that faces Taiwan Strait and the Chinese mainland. The island is an enormous fault block that rises gradually up the western slope to high mountains. Those mountains drop precipitously into the Pacific ocean on the eastern side of the island:
