Lithgow is quite possibly playing one of the best villian roles ever.
I'm still not sure if its been better than season two (Lundy and Doakes plot line) but damn its been good.

It's great. Only thing holding the show back is the incredibly boring plotlines involving Batista and whatsherface. So annoying.
Can't wait for the finale.

completely agree on batista and laguerta, but it looks done now thankfully.
Actually this season is missing a little of one thing... Masuka! He's had some excellent one liners and all, but they've focused far too much on the other characters and he's been left out a bit. |

Dexter is easily one of the best show on tv. I'm really looking forward to the finale. They are saying that the finale is going to be a "game
changer" and fans are going to freak out (in a good way) at the crazy plot twist.

I watched one episode. Dexter really isn't enough of a sociopath for my liking.

He's not supposed to be much of a sociopath. Although Lithgow's character is probably more to your liking. Truthfully, dexter is like a movie cut
into 12 50 minute pieces. If you just watch one episode you really aren't catching more than a glimpse.

The Season 4 finale of Dexter pulled in the show's largest audience ever and was the best telecast for Showtime in more than a decade.

It was also fucking amazing. There's no way they will ever be able to top the other killer angle than what they did with Lithgow. He was otherworldly
great.

Dexter is a great show but I still think the first season is still the best so far. So many questions were answered with a lot of twists and turns and every
episode was just brilliant. I would put season 1 above season 4 as the two best seasons so far.

They need to cancel the show right now. Seriously, there is no way that can be topped. That was, hands down, the most amazing scene in television history and
there is no hyperbole there. That has to be the most heartwrenching and "fitting" scenes in all of cinema and TV. I almost fucking cried. Deadwood
has been and probably will my favorite TV show of all time but Dexter might have just leapfrogged the Wire into the number 2 spot with that scene. It was
always lurking in the top 5, I always liked Dexter more than the Sopranos, but I dunno guys. That last scene is so fucking tragic and there just isn't
enough of that on mainstream entertainment. I think my heart just broke for real. mahalo

the most amazing scene in television history The Shield series finale, hands down. Vic Mackey's confession scene. I am in love with Clayton Kershaw. I want him in me. - Curll84 |

I don't really know how to react to that last scene. Just watched it, and it ripped my guts out. Great show though, and Lithgow was spectacular.

Read some spoilers for the next season, nothing big just general outlines. The show is amazing, but I stick to my original post that Vick Mackey's confession is the single greatest scene in television history.
"When you go to a club until 4 a.m. and just waiting, waiting, a 600-pounder looks like J-Lo. And to me this is Jennifer Lopez
right here. Its 4 in the morning. Too much to drink. All the girls look hot. So, the Nationals are Jennifer Lopez to me." - Tavarez

I'm halfway through season 2. If you give away any more details about the Shield I will gut you like that psycho dude did to that chick in season 2. I am loving this show, don't spoil things like Greek did for me with the last season of the Wire. I'm working hard and ignoring my homework to plow through season 1. mahalo

minutes and now shit doesn't look pretty good. If I had maybe 30 more
minutes, big things coulda been poppin',

After watching Boondock Saints 2, I'm almost a little glad about the Dexter season 4 finale. Jesus what a horrible job she did in Boondock, really the whole movie was subpar except for some of the plays on the first movie.

It took me a long time, but I finally started watching Dexter.
I'm about done Season 1, and I'm completely freakin' hooked.
Why would we ever PH for Varitek? I mean, what if we PH for him, and it goes to extras, and vic martinez gets eaten by
dinosaurs? We'd have to use the emergency catcher.

If you watch an entire season in one sitting I believe it is required by law to warn people you see for the next few days that you are feeling serial killerish.
Does this mean we know your position on sodomy then?- raftsox

It really is bad to get hooked on the show cause then you start thinking... "hmmm dexter has a point..."
Just rewatched the first two seasons and it is just as amazing without the suspense. After watching it again I was really amazed by the quality of the directing and cinematography, just a wonderfully done show. |
