He's always been the on the business/marketing/organizing side of things and he wouldn't be who I'd want as my Scouting Director. By all means, he's been great there. He was the brain child behind the Fenway Summer Classic, which is a great opportunity to get to know the kids. But, as far as scouting goes, I don't think he has enough experience in the field.

I find it hard to believe that you know how much experience he actually has in the field enough to make such an assessment.
