He fucking deserves it. Fuck him. That 0-2 pitch was a fucking joke. Fuck you Paps. I hope those were the last pitches you ever throw.

We all said that the way Papelbon was pitching it was going to catch up to him eventually. Just hoped it wasn't gonna happen in the playoffs. Wagner and
Papelbon really fucked this for the sox

Fastball had nothing.
aminahyaquin: Alou is a 37 year old 7 time MVP with a .347 lifetime batting average and a world of hustle. he
can golden glove field in his sleep.
tGG: Alou is actually 42, has never won an MVP, has a .303 lifetime batting average, and is mediocre at best in the field. joshv02: But, other than that, you're wrong. |

jspearlj1 wrote: Not when you have a stupid cunt of a closer who had 2 outs five million times and couldn't seal the deal. You know why? Cause he fucking overthrows in those situations. The walk he drew on a 3-2 pitch wasn't even fucking close cause the stupid cunt had to overthrow and the pitch went 5 million miles into the air which Vlad wouldn't even fucking swing at.

What a disgrace. He deserves all the shit he can get. I can't get over that 0-2 pitch. It's going to haunt me all off-season, like when Johnny Damon
gave away that AB with the bases loaded against Contreras. Fuck Paps.

This team as a whole doesn't deserve to win right now. There are a few players who have played their heart out but this team has done nothing to show they
are a legit contenders right now. Hope Papelbon enjoys his offseason

An Adrian Gonzalez or Felix Hernandez acquisition will get me excited for next season.

Paps doesn't deserve this grief. Yes, he coughed it up today, and I suspect some people that commented during the season that he wasn't the same
pitcher this year as he was in prior years aren't too surprised. But he had given up no runs of his own in the playoffs until today, so if he didn't
have it this time, so be it. Maybe this experience will convince him that he needs to come back next year as more of a multipitch pitcher. He needs to get his
slider and/or splitter working consistently again.

What a clusterfuck. It goes from one out away from a Game 4 tomorrow night to the fucking Angels celebrating at Fenway. Again, thanks for the job well done
Paps!

Papelbon deserves the grief. He was the most dominant closer in the game, and he has tweaked himself into a much lesser pitcher.
He tweaked his deliver, he began falling in love with his new slider, he abandoned the splitter. Look at him now. |
