The times I've listened to Tazawa games, the announcers have used the words inside or outside corner quite often and you can't usually guess what's coming by the count. That usually indicates a pitcher that sets up batters for a particular pitch by using the entire zone, not just throwing strikes but locating strikes. Your prototypical command and control pitcher as opposed to a dominance pitcher. IMO, it's the pitching style of Lester, Smoltz (post closer), Bowden, Kelly & Pimentel, not just Dice-K. Beckett, Wake (believe it or not), Penny & Buchholz and virtually all our relievers are dominance pitchers. You can hear the difference in pitching styles by listening to the announced locations.

Categorizing all command and control pitchers together is no more useful than categorizing all dominance pitchers together. There's an equally wide quality range for either style. Most posters are dominance pitcher fans but I prefer c & c. Maybe Kelly might change a few opinions.
