Volz would be a senior next year and would lose just about all of his leverage. IMO, he's expected to sign.

Younginer and Renfroe are both asking for well above slot to sign. While the Sox have done a nice job in the past at signing guys in the first ten rounds or so, you can never assume they'll sign them, especially with their asking price. That's why they're labeled "tough signs". Renfroe is asking for $3MM, and I don't think the Sox will offer him that so I could see Renfroe honoring his commitment to Ole Miss in spite of the Sox not meeting his asking price.

I agree, blumbergh. But, I just don't think I can rationalize a guy who is asking for $3MM as a third rounder and $1MM as a seventh rounder as being "expected to sign". In the end, I think they'll both probably be signed, it's just their asking price that has them listed as "50/50".

Michael has a full ride to Vandy and is nowhere near being worthy of first round money. To put it in perspective, he was listed as the 483rd best high school talent on PGCrosschecker.
