After re-watching all four seasons of the Wire, I've decided I want the Pogue's The Body of an American played at my funeral as well as Finnegan's Wake. I plan on being buried in a coffin of particle board and have the money that would be spent on a casket to be spent on booze.

St. Vincent's Marry Me is a wonderful and beautiful album. Annie Clark has a very sweet voice. mahalo

Nah man, Alica Keys has a beautiful voice. I can't say I am a huge fan of her music, I'm iffy on it, but I give the girl respect.

Kanye sucks. He's just trying to rip off J Dilla and ruining it by throwing a heavy beat onto every track.

I love the new Peter and the Wolf Album The Ivori Palms. This is the album that I always hoped Ben Harper would do with mostly acoustic stuff. I guess Red Hunter wrote much of the album after spending late nights in abandoned buildings with homeless guys in Quebec drinking cheap scotch. Sounds like fun to me. mahalo

The thing that gets me is you seem life a fairly sensible person and I'm not saying My Chemical Romance sucks, they were on my iPod for quite awhile. But your favorite band? That's not ghey, that's tragic. Of all the great music in the world, the act that you connect with the most and enjoy most is My Chemical Romance? I am speechless. Glad to see you have convictions. I respect that but am still amazed that MCR is your favorite of all time.

My favorite albums of all time:
Metallica-Master of Puppets (Blows all their other albums out of the water, fuck the Black album)
AFI-The Art of Drowning (Not sure how this is still in the top 5, was more so a fav 5 years ago but it still gets me amped at the gym and I listened to it a lot when I would go for my walks in the winter so it still holds a place in my heart)
Rilo Kiley- The Execution of All Things (Has a country/midwest flavor to it without sounds like pop country which I, and I am assuming you as well, dislike. Jenny Lewis has such a beautiful voice. And Pinksey from Salute your Shorts is the guitarist)
The Postal Service- Give Up (Just a really sweet album. I love much of Ben Gibbard's work)
Norah Jones- Come Away With Me (Such a Beautiful voice. Very calming and peaceful)

Don't sleep on Rilo Kiley. It's a wonderful album with a country/bluegrassy' sound. I'm not talking about Kenny Chesney here, more like Conor Oberst sort of stuff.

If you are having trouble sleeping, I'd recommend some of Cat Power's live stuff. Very minimal and she has a sweet voice as well. And there there is the man, the myth, the legend, the Almighty himself
