That was flat out sickening. I'd rather watch Ellis Hobbs and Julio Lugo make a hardcore gay porn than Kobe(Phil Jackson) succeed at anything.

Glad to see Phil Jackson cared more about his personal records rather than his current team. What a douche. And how old are his kids? They must be in the
30's. No one older than 13 should have made that hat he was wearing.
All I could think about at the end of the game was how pissed I was that the Magic knocked out Lebron. Or that they knocked out the Celtics, who would have fell easily to the Cavs in 5. |

A healthy Celtics team may have wiped the floor with the Lakers once again.

I still doesn't impress with Phil Jackson's credit for being 10 NBA titles as HC. He would never take the job for coaching the bad team for turn
around. Larry Brown does it again with numerous of bad teams. Phil prefers to have superstar players (MJ, Shaq, Kobe) with good supporting cast players
(Pippen, Gasol, etc). It's cheap picky for him when every team asking him (temp retirement) for his available. Hope that he can retire now as he got his
ego goals.

NBA draft is this week. Unless Danny buys a first round pick there is nothing to watch here.

Unless you're also a UConn fan.
Despite the lack of the elite talent in this draft, it's actually still a pretty deep draft. I'll be interested to see what Danny does with his 2nd round picks (maybe we'll get a little lucky and a talent like Patty Mills will still be around).
On the other hand if your tools suck and your skills are excellent you're either not highly regarded or you're Pedroia.

This draft is one of the worst since 2000. There are no elite talents outside of Blake Griffin. It will be a snoozer for me.

I've heard Danny Ainge has been shopping Ray Allen and that he would love to trade up to three for Tyreke Evans. I'm not sure what I think of that.

Tyreke Evans is gonna be the next Steve Francis. And I don't mean that as a compliment.
I'm all for trading Ray Allen, though.

Bucks trade Richard Jefferson to the Spurs for Bruce Bowen, Francisco Oberto and Kurt Thomas.
Bucks then trade Oberto to the Pistons for Amir Johnson. |

Wizards trade the #5 pick and 3 filler players to the TWolves for Randy Foye and Mike Miller.

So they are filler players with expiring deals. Still a horrendous trade for Minny. One of the weakest drafts since 2000 and they want another lottery pick.
They won't get anyone better than Foye at #5. They clear salary yet no free agent will go there anyways. Washington immediately becomes a threat. But they
still likely won't be able to play any defense and they are coached by Flip Saunders.

Today and tomorrow should be real interesting. A lot of rumors are out there in regards to the Celtics and other teams.
Would people do this trade that Spears wrote about today. Rondo and Scal for Rudy Gay and Mike Conley? |

Here is one of the reasons that Rondo may be moved

I don't really think Washington will be too much of a threat. They should be able to score the ball exceptionally well, but with their horrendous post game
they're going to have trouble getting stops down the stretch of games. I look at them as a less talented version of this year's Orlando Magic team.
jsinger121 wrote: Unless Aingle has a 0% intention of bringing Rondo back, then no. Conley is a below average NBA point guard (and probably always will be), and Rudy Gay is one of the worst defenders in the NBA. I don't see that trade as being a very good fit.

I felt that the Rondo trade could have happened before Ainge said what he said about him today. I would have to think that calling Rondo out would only hurt
his trade value and not help it. The comments that Ainge made only serve to motivate his player. I fully expect Rondo will be back here next season and beyond.

More NBA trades. This one almost final.
Warriors send Jamal Crawford to the Hawks for Acie Law and Speedy Claxton. |
