That's the main thing for me as well, but between the injuries, problematic platoon splits, deacreasing ability to get swings and misses, horrid GB% and pitching in the Colisuem I have never liked Bailey, always felt like he was a one-trick pony in his rookie year who has pitched so little since then that his numbers simply haven't corrected themselves the way you would expect over a 3-year period. I commend Cherington on giving up relatively little for a "proven closer" but I hate that he picked this particular closer. I would have been much happier spending half of what Bailey will make and 0 prospects on a reclamation project closer (or spending twice what Bailey will make on Madson, were that an option.)
