So in my irrational rantings and ravings in the game thread, I feel like I may have actually been a blind squirrel finding a nut.  After the dual press conference today it is clear that there are huge problems in the Red Sox clubhouse relating to cliques and players not being held accountable.  It generally seemed like Theo particularly fingered the troika of Lester, Beckett, and Lackey, especially having to do with their level of fitness. I can't imagine who else he could be talking about.

No offensive player particularly struggled, save Saltalamacchia.  But I doubt anyone had high expectations for him going into the season (by the way, if I hear about Camp Tuck next Spring Training I'm going to throw up).  I doubt he was referring to Wakefield, who has been bad for a while now, or Andrew Miller, who basically lived up to his solid track record of being particularly crap.  Everyone in the bullpen basically pitched to their abilities obviously disregarding Bard's performance down the stretch. 

The only people who really underachieved severely are the previously mentioned trio of pitchers.
