They could have blown up their team at the deadline but they stood their ground and it paid off. It's such a damn shame they have to play in that shit hole and nobody will come across the bridge to watch their games.

Or maybe because they couldn't diagnose Buchholz properly in the first place causing him to lengthen his DL stint? Or because John Lackey's personal life was a foodfighttrainwreck and it affected his already mediocre pitching? Or because Tim Bogar personally cost the Sox 6 games with his windmill arm? Was it because Tito left Wakefield in too long on four separate occasions when Timmy was stuck on 199 wins? Was it because Curt Young isn't a magician without huge foul ball space and AL West competition to back up his genius? Or is it because your manager was "resting" players for the playoffs in August forgetting that, yeah, every one of these games really do matter? Can't wait to hear what caused this monumental collapse

Totally agree, he really looked like an arthritic 60 year old who's had double knee replacement surgery, on that last line drive.

He lived with his guys and he died with them. It's Grady Little all over again. I have been literally shaking my head in disbelief since the double to Davis. The Ortiz and Scutaro baserunning blunders, the Crawford misplay, the Hanks letting their AAA pitchers allow Tampa back into that game, the Golson baserunning miscue and leaving Proctor out there until the end. It's the curse of Andino. There is no tomorrow, there is no tomorrow.
