It's 11:36 pm and none of the top 4 have signed. Guess it's time to go to bed, and make a mad dash to my laptop in the morning to see who signed

It is supposedly so there is no leveraging like the NFL used to have before the CBA imposed rookie wage scale I believe. So no agent/kid is going to say well he got this, give me this figure and so forth. It is a joke either way however.
