I just watched that replay again. Navarro actually lept up in the air trying to cut-off McDonald's throw. That would've been a hell of a rookie blunder.

If he thinks he's getting more from someone than the Sox will offer in arb, Papelbon is high! (what am I saying, the Steinbrenners gave Soriano that crazy deal).

With Lester almost sure to miss two starts let's see if the Sox are smart enough to ask Beckett not to pitch in the All Star cluster and instead to be ready to go first game out the chute against Tampa. Hopefully, Tampa will let Price and Sonenstein
pitch in the game off setting one of them in the series.

Unless Buchholz got great news in NC, and Lester gets the "it's just a cramp, you're good to go a week from Saturday, Sox will like have Beckett, Miller and one of Lackey/Wake for the Tampa series, which could be about as important as a July series gets give how close they are in the standings and how they seem to own us more often than not.
