Congrats to DeMarlo and Johnson. Its a shame though because DeMarlo was so great at third base (edit: not that he won't excel as the bench coach as well,
just sometimes third base coaches can be hit or miss). I wonder now if RJ will be the 3rd base coach or Bogar will slide over there.

Bogar is sliding over to third while RJ will be at first.

Ron Johnson will be a dominant force in bench-clearing brawls.

With vacancies now at Lowell and Pawtucket, I'd like to see the Sox get Jody Reed back in the fold somehow. He's been with THEM for a few years
now...as the manager of their GCL team and as a minor-league co-ordinator. Seeing Reed in pinstripes...sad. Shouldn't be.
Mike Greenwell would also be a great addition as well. I know he's coached in both our system and the Reds system as well. |
