That may be true, but you could see the Phillies (read: Lidge) let down after that play. It was Lidge's responsibility to cover third base to prevent that from happening. I am no fan of the Hanks or Damon, but that was a brilliant heads-up play and, combined with the AB itself, was the play of the series.
