Do we have anything in Bierd? Wasn't that impressive for Pawtucket but so far he has been pretty good, 2 earned in 11 innings.

I know Luis pretty well actually. Just happy to see he had a nice game. Hes certainly the 3rd string guy on that team right now, especially behind Conger. Im
happy he at least put one out and got himself a pair of RBI. I definately followed his season and know he transitioned very well at the plate when he was
promoted to Portland.

Not the greatest of days in Ariizona.....
Iglesias (DH): 1-for-4 Exposito (PH-C): 0-for-1 Lentz: 1.1IP 0H 0BB 1K 0R Richardson: .1IP 2H 2BB 4ER Richardson gave up a walk-off grand-slam. It will be good to see him in his next outing to see him bounce right back. Sh*t happens Dustin, move forward brother.

Sucks for Dustin. Mesa scored a run in the top of the 9th to send it to extras, then they bring in Dustin who implodes. Oh well.

No pitchers out there today, just the guys with the wood.....
Iglesias 1-for-5 (.276/.364/.414) Exposito 2-for-3, BB, RBI (.263/.333/.474) Kalish 1-for-4, RBI (.290/.314/.323) Interesting to see Iglesias start to get moved up in the order. He started the AFL hitting in the bottom of the order, however today he hit 2nd. Iglesias pitches/PA: (1st) - 2 (3rd) - 4 (5th) - 5 (7th) - 1 (9th) - 1 EDIT: link

Casey with an RBI double to go along with the triple. His OPS after a whopping 13 AB is 873.

Nice to see Lentz with another good outing. 1.1 0H 0R 0BB 2K. I'm think 2010 will be Richie's breakout year.

Iglesias 0-for-3, Exposito 0-for-4.
Richardson gives up 2 walks and a hit, but emerges the 9th unscathed. Behind Castro and Iglesias, I'm wondering how much of Kelly we'll see actually playing SS the rest of the way, rather than at third as he was last night. Good for him with the good night at the plate though.....

It's amazing that Iglesias isn't even the youngest SS on his own team and that Kelly is the 3rd youngest. Starlin Castro is going to be pretty good. He
looks like one of the rare players that no matter how much the Cubs rush him he'll still turn out okay.
aminahyaquin: Alou is a 37 year old 7 time MVP with a .347 lifetime batting average and a world of hustle. he
can golden glove field in his sleep.
tGG: Alou is actually 42, has never won an MVP, has a .303 lifetime batting average, and is mediocre at best in the field. joshv02: But, other than that, you're wrong. |
