The problem is we faced their #5 pitcher for only 2 times (before All-Star break) while they faced our #5 pitcher for 5 times including this Sunday game (Byrd). Let's hope to take 2 out of 3 from them. Number of times for the 5 pitcher rotation faced between 2 teams: Boston Rotation-# of starts vs NYY #1/2 Beckett-5 #2/1 Lester-4 (incl today) #3/4 Penny-2 #5/now #3 Buchholz-1 (replaced Tim W-injured from early Aug game against CC) #5-Wakefield-1 #5 Smoltz-1 #5 Tazawa-1 #4 Masterson-1 (April game) #4 DiceK-1 (this Sat) #5 Byrd-1 (this Sun) They face our #4/5 pitcher for 9 times! NY Rotation-# of starts vs Boston #1 CC-4 (this Sat) #2 Burnett-4 #3 Pettitte-4 (this Sun) #4 Joba-4 (today) #5 Wang-1 #5-Hughes-1 We face their #4/5 pitchers for only 6 times!

Just get through the weekend without any injuries and win at least one game (preferably tonight, to take the pressure of Dice-K).

Rockies - Cardinals could be a great series this weekend; with the Braves and Marlins playing the Nats & Mets, it's a real possibility that the NL Wild Card could go down to the wire.
