I hate the money too but I think there are still other shoes to drop this offseason. Morris is a huge upgrade over Ward.

Jordan Caron is out 6-8 weeks with a broken collarbone. He got hurt at Team Canada camp after Zack Kassian gave him a buddy pass coming out of the zone. Colton
Teubert (who I fucking love) absolutely nails him. I can't get a link to the video but you can see it on www.barstoolsports.com. It's the first video
listed under "Hot Videos" and it's titled "Bruins #1 draft pick gets destroyed."

I think Chia played his cards right with Kessel and he will be back in the fold. Probably a 1 year deal but with players coming off the books next year he can
cash in then.

Who needs a 21-year-old 35+ goal scorer?
The B's get a decent haul, but their chances of hoisting the cup in 2010 were a lot greater with Kessel in the fold. |

True, but their chances of having Kessel in the fold seemed to be getting slimmer by the day. At least they got a nice little haul in return. Even if you
don't use the picks, you can always use them as trade chips at the deadline.

PC better have some great projection system being utilized to justify some of the moves (non-moves) he has made. I'm not saying his job is in jeopardy or
anything, but it very well could be if things don't fall into place. 2009-10-11 are two big seasons for this team. It's sad to lose Kessel, but how can
you not be excited for NHL hockey at this point?
Anybody want to take a stab at the opening night lineup? I've got: Lucic-Savard-Wheeler Sturm-Bergeron-Recchi Kobasew-Hamill-Ryder Thornton-Begin-Bitz Chara-Morris Stuart-Wideman Ference-Hunwick Thomas Rask I would personally rather see Bergeron centering Sturm and Ryder, but I don't think that will happen. Also, Sturm could slot in at RW on the first line as he skated there today. It would be very re-assuring to see Hamill assert himself and break camp with the team. |

He just signed a contract extension and got 3 high picks for a player that didn't want to be here. He is going nowhere.
