Expo. Had to.
Lavarnway is behind Expo and Fed-X in the catching department and Fed-X stuggled a bit after his promotion, while Expo excelled at the plate is what is considered the hardest minor league transition. The most complete catching package, in my eyes.

Guys Expo is the better prospect but this voting is all about statistics not prospect status. Just something for everyone to think about.

Singer, I also voted for Expo given his complete package. I understand where you're coming from, but based on experience level and the fact that Expo
didn't really "falter" during his step; I see his year as being superior.

Great race so far. I relunctantly went with Fed-X, who raked in Greenville (moreso than Lavarnway), and still managed to hit respectably in high A. Better
season, considering the defensive reviews, too.

I could see voting for any of the three. Lavarnway had the better overall numbers, but Fed Ex was better in Greenville and probably shouldn't be penalized
for the fact that he got promoted. Add in the better defense and I would take him over Lavarnway. With that said, my vote went to Expo. He is very close to Fed
Ex statistically, but how he put up the stats is far more impressive. Fed Ex dominated a league he was old for and then struggled some in an age appropriate
league. Expo was just okay in Salem and then dominated in Portland. I would take that over the ~10% difference in SLG.

jsinger - haven't decided on my vote yet, but defense should also be taken into account. Not just about offensive numbers, and Lavarnway spent a lot of
time at DH.

Tim Federowicz Note: this was a very tough one. Raw offensive numbers said Lavarnway (but his defensive skills were limited). Clearly Expo is closer to a finished product, but Fedex's defensive "star" quality combined with better numbers in each offensive category made me decide he deserves the all-star accolade this year. Quite a luxury when we don't even mention Wagner, who reputedly has very fine defensive skills, very decent offensive numbers overall, and is the closest to the majors. |

Tough choice, but the defensive reviews of Lavarnway (and his stats on D) were bad enough that I had to discount him there. Expo and FedEx had very similar
numbers, with Expo doing it at a higher level, so I went with him. Could go either way, though.

in honesty everyone takes prospect status into account ,while it might not be their main reason for voting for whomever they did,it certainly goes into the
