Damn, I have Sherrill on my fantasy team. I just dropped A.Bailey to pick up a starter. I need wins and k's. Didn't think Bailey would get that many saves rest of the year given the state of the A's. Now he's sharing time with Broxton. |

I really don't even know why some of you are considering putting Ellsbury in any deal. Top of the line defense at a premier position, endless speed. and
he's starting to show pop in that bat. He should be an untouchable in any deal.

I agree. Ellsbury could end being a .300 12HR 70SB player with gold glove defense...and he's got great character as well.

Pirates trade John Grabow and Tom Gorzalanny to the Cubs for pitchers Kevin Hart (26YO RH RP AAA) and Jose Ascanio (24YO RH SP AAA) and third baseman Josh
Harrison (22YO A+ 3B). No stars but not a bad return.

Consistent and good are two different things. Jacoby consistently having an OBP under .350 horray he's consistent, yet an OBP under .350 isnt good.
What's with this talk of Reddick and Lin having to play center, that's what Rios is for. Rios could even be a above average center fielder because the
guy has a cannon and his arm will be consistenly awesome regardless of his outfield position. How many players learn how to be disciplined at the plate at the
big league level, I can think of one in Jose Reyes. Jacoby's entire track record indicates he's going to walk less than 50 times a year in 650
AB's.

Perhaps I should have been more clear. I will meet you have way MaleNurse, Ellsbury may not have an outstanding arm, but, he gets great jumps on the ball and
reads the ball well and can track down pretty much anything. I'm pretty sure even you should be able to attest to that. Correct me if I'm wrong but
maybe that is part of the reason why it took it 232 games to make an error... Yay or nay? It may seem as if Ells has been around for a while, however, lets not
forget he's only in his second full season, whereas your boy Rios is in his 6th year and doesn't seem to be getting better. Since you bashed Ellsbury
on walking/ OBP I've come across some interesting information. Ellsbury has a higher career OBP and Rios' OBP is in his 3rd straight year of decline in
that category. Have fun in Toronto.

Don't think it said they might land both of those players. It says they may land Gonzalez "instead of" Martinez. Either on would be great. esp.
