Veteran Member Posts: 3139 07/30/09 12:03 AM Veteran Member	I'd also be happy with no moves, as long as it was accompanied by Penny to the pen, Buchholz to the rotation, Green to the bench permanently, and DH became a platoon with Lowell and Ortiz. Barring all that, they have to get Halladay. Could Penny realistically transition to the pen? I'd like to see it happen if they can't get rid of him via trade. He's just a two-pitch guy and his stuff should play up in the pen. He needs to get more reps in to get his hitting back on track, and Green gives us virtually nothing offensively. Is terry just being careful with Lowrie's health, or does he really think alternating the two of them is giving us a better chance to win.

I have heard absolutely no concerns about Lowrie's health recently.... I like Lowrie a lot, but I think we need to make a roster move at SS, just so Francona can no longer play Nick Green.

I think he's more just working Lowrie into an everyday role since he has been out basically the entire season. This plus matchups - Francona loves working the matchups.
