I'm with you about Lars. The 133 at-bats at Portland isn't an enormous sample size, but things have changed so drastically this year that I have to think something is up. Perhaps the reported back injury is lingering longer than was expected or maybe he's trying to tough it out. Or maybe he just needs to adjust to AA like 99% of incoming players. I imagine others will disagree, but Rizzo is quietly sneaking up on Lars as the top 1B prospect in the system.
