Just rewatched the first two seasons and it is just as amazing without the suspense.  After watching it again I was really amazed by the quality of the directing and cinematography, just a wonderfully done show.

Lithgow is quite possibly playing one of the best villian roles ever.

I'm still not sure if its been better than season two (Lundy and Doakes plot line) but damn its been good.
