I agree, it's tough to expect a competitor to rare back in an instance like that. I know the Eagles had a hard time trying to convince Brian Westbrook to stop pushing for an extra one or two yards as he would go out of bounds, because it was his competitive inclination to always try to get more. But those hits add up. Be that as it may (he says in the Captain Obvious department), it's still a setback, as he's likely to miss all of Fall Instrux and perhaps winter ball too. If this guy can catch a break, he looks like he can be special.

Yep. That's what I heard at the game... He was down on the field for a good 6 minutes.... Frankly, after that long, I was glad to hear it was only a collarbone.
