I love stuff like this by those of us who have no clue who is and isn't available. Guzman? Really... Since you know so much what was it that the Sox had to
give up for him? Just take on his salary? Kris Negron? Did it ever occur to you that Guzman was too expensive in terms of value back? What I've heard is
Washington wants a real good return for Guzman or they will keep him for next season. They want legit prospects back or MLB level guys like MDC. Wash isn't

That has to be the biggest SSS anomaly ever, there's no way Green is a better defensive shortstop than basically anybody. I do think he has been playing

The Ultimate Zone Rating compiled at FanGraphs.com uses a formula based on errors, range, and arm strength to quantify how many runs above average a

it was night and day. But coming back from micro fracture surgery I do not know how much range he has lost. I believe he will still be way better defensively
than what we have now. The problem is that even with as poor as the team is hitting he will not help with the bat. But for me first and foremost you need
defense at short so if his range is still there I will live with the lack of hitting and be happy with the deal.

Breaking news: Kris Negron traded to Cincy for Alex Gonzalez... My first reaction: Wow! Negron was about as everyday a player as you see.
Negron started 111 out of 114 games for Salem, hit .264, .306 since break... certainly a team leader for Salem who will be missed by the Sox

Imagine it'll be tough for him to leave some good friends on team, but he just got traded straight up for a big leaguer... good opportunity
