I'll take westmoreland over Valle and in my opinion it isn't close, either. Westy is a young five tool talent who looks as if he has plus tools all
around. Also, he has plus, plus speed and at the very least a plus arm and defense. So far displays good contact rates, patience, and power potential.

Both guys are too young to know much about at this point from a future prediction point, but I will take my chances with the overall better athlete with plus
tools across the board.

We'll just agree to disagree. If you all feel that Valle is a better prospect than Westmoreland (which if you read the sequence was the topic of
conversation) then I'll accept it as being the majority opinion. I do disagree and in no small way but you all have the right to feel any way you wish. My
feeling is that Valle is a very good prospect but not Westmoreland good, in fact, not close.

The sad part is that we can't have a discussion without getting emotionally involved.

Obviously, with the doubleheader tomorrow TUES, that factored into the RockCats leaving in their starter for as long as possible. The Seadogs batters continued
to work the count, even with the huge lead. The first 5 batters in the 9th inning went to 3-2 count. This ran up the pitch count on Slama, NB closer, for
tomorrow. It visably annoyed the NBr fielders that Slama wouldn't throw strikes and that the Seadogs would not put the ball in play.

I assume the Doubleheader tomorrow was the primary reason that the Seadogs would not swing at the first pitch.

I was lucky enough to attend the Seadogs game today and witness our AA team absolutely tear apart poor New Britians pitching. When I got there and found out
Lars wasn't playing I was in a bad mood but the team lifted me out of it soon enough. Here are my observations on some of the players (I'm no scout so
these will be fairly simplistic).

Josh Reddick: Reddick started the day off with a well hit single into right and later hit a seeing eye groundball single up the middle. His
homerun hit the top of the wall in centerfield so it wasn't exactly crushed but he still demonstrated impressive power. He played a very good center field
and made two great catches. The first one was a sinking liner which he caught an inch above the ground and the 2nd was a well hit ball into right center that
he made an impressive running catch on. Off the field, Reddick was sporting a mustache that would make Wade Boggs proud and was joking around with Ryan Kalish
