I forgot that Peterson was injured too. I don't think the move to GCL has anything to do with what the FO thinks of his ability, they just will take it
easy for a while and let him get back to 100%
That GCL roster is STACKED! They have some interesting young arms to watch too with the LA arms like Mendez and Rivera and some HS arms from last year's
draft.

Thanks, I actually used to post under "KBO25" for years. But, changed jobs and the move to yuku, made that account inactive. But, I've been
lurking, always lurking...

Good to hear about Peterson. It used to be we would get all worked up at a guy in his second year not making a full season team, seeing it as some kind of
failure. But, I think with the depth in the system, we (I) need to re-think that. Guys like Kalish and Engel (and B. Moss before them) still get to AA by
21/22.

Peterson missed a lot of XST with a strained oblique, he just got back to 100% last week. I think they'e going to handle him with kid gloves for a little
while. Wouldn't be surprised to see him in Lowell in the early going, but then again he'd probably get a lot more PT in the GCL.

The GCL team has a lot of exciting high-upside players, and could look even better if Fuentes gets there soon. They could also add Renfroe and several other
signees later in the season. Should be a fun team to follow. We should have a few members headed over to the Fort this season to give us some first hand
reports.

I don't know if I'd get too upset over it, I remember at the beginning of the year when they were finalizing the Full Season rosters that Peterson was
one of the guys just on the brink of making it to Greenville. So it might not have to do as much with his ability as it does with the glut of OFers in the
system right now. He definitely showed his potential last year and I would think he'll be up at either Lowell or Greenville in the not to distant...
