Thanks, sorry about that. A couple still just have url's that I can't link to - and that must be what happened before when I checked last time and assumed they were all like that. I am getting most of them to work now. THANKS!! It's awesome.

Have already posted this in a couple other topics and maybe should post here in the correct thread.. A big hearty THANK YOU to everyone involved with this site that have used greatly over the years, but only recently posted at.

Since my beloved Winter Haven Red Sox left town many years ago, stopped paying as much attention to farm hands on the lower levels and this site is far away the best available with not only information, but people that do not mind sharing valuable insight on the future stars that they get the privilege to witness for themselves and share it with us.

Amfox, you're post reminded me of one thing. The pre-draft prospect scouting report thread was awesome. I was thinking it might be good if there was a listing in the wiki of the guys with scouting reports and we could click and find the report - almost like we do with our prospects. It would be easier ti find the reports of guys instead of scrolling through the thread. I'm not sure if that's feasible or not, but just a thought. I know I found myself going through the threads to try to find the reports put together (with no success). There are a lot of thanks to be given, as the draft coverage has been nearly a year in the making. My interest and active participation in the draft goes back to the 2002 draft, before this website existed. Back then, SOSH had the only Red Sox draft coverage, and I was an active participant. One of my goals when I became involved in this site was to ensure that soxprospects.com had the best Red Sox draft coverage and to allow SOSH do what it does best - be a community of Red Sox fans. It is clear that we have fulfilled this goal.

As a group, we determined after last year's draft to try to reach for a new level of draft coverage. Our mission was to have the best Red Sox draft coverage AND the best overall draft coverage, outside of the professional draft services. I believe we are making good progress toward fulfilling our mission.

Working on this year's draft entailed the contributions of a lot of people, including Temple, TheGoldenGreek (haven't seen...

And by the way, Amfox1 is his real name. We had an age controversy with him and he had to produce his birth certificate. Turns out he'd subtracted a couple years from his age when he signed with the site...

Thank you to Mike and everyone at SoxProspects -- draft coverage has been awesome! I got involved with the site last year when trying to learn what was happening with my hometown boy Ryan Westmoreland, but I've stayed because the system-wide coverage is so outstanding.

This year I'm trying to do my bit by helping with the draftee profiles as I see others doing as well. Thanks to all of the folks who do this day in and day out. It's been a great site for a long time, but this year with The Ladder and greatly expanded analysis of key players, it's gone from great to absolutely superb.

It wasn't that long ago that I hadn't heard of this Papelbon kid the Sox brought up for a few games. Now, off the top of my head, I know the names and stats of obscure South & Central American teenagers playing in a league I never knew existed. Thank You, SoxProspects.Com!

Adding my thanks to all those above - Soxprospects is one of my favortie on line sites and I look at it mulitple times a day because of the information and attitude that the posters share. As a sox fan and a fan of college baseball - it is super.

It's quite simple -- this is one of the most complete, imaginative, informative, and well-run sites on the Internet -- on ANY topic. Period. I hope the morale among the major contributors to this site is as high as it seems to be from the outside, because it should be. You people are running something very special here.

Not much I can add that hasn't been said - first class effort by everyone. It was fun to observe and participate in the discussions and learn from the vast knowledge (and large heads) of the others.

Now, if you can guys can only help get a few more of the draftees signed - that would be pretty cool, too!

I remember when I first found the site five or so years ago I thought that soxprospects.com was just one of 30 sites that was dedicated to a team's minor league system. I can recall trying to find yanksprospects or giantsprospects to see other teams minor league systems but there was simply site out there like this one. This is truly a great site and without it I don't think I ever follow the minor leagues which is something that I absolutely love to do.

Thanks a lot guys. I followed this site for a while before I signed up. I make it a point to check it everyday to see updates on prospect performance, signings, trades, etc... you guys get the info before ESPN and redsox.com which is a little crazy to think of... I've looked for sites this this for other teams to see what's happening around tghe league, but there is nothing like this site for any team in baseball anywhere in the world. It is a tribute to everythat the Red Sox are... the team, the fans, and you guys for making a phenominal site that is unmatched anywhere on the net.

Over the three days of the draft we received a record number of readers - 61,545 visitors and 473,291 pageviews from June 9 - 11. Thanks so much to all the readers, and a big huge thanks to the staff members covering the draft - Ian Theodoridis, Chris Mellen, Chris Hatfield, Zach Nicholson, Dan Hanson, Jonathan Singer, and amfox1. They really did a great job. We don't really make any profit, so the staff is really just doing this for the love of the game and the Red Sox (and the occasional thank you). Hopefully we can continue to bring you more exciting news now that signing season is underway.
