Blakroc is a really cool project, its a collaboration between the Black Keys and several prominent rappers, Mos Def, Raekwon, Jim Jones, Pharoahe Monch, RZA,
Ludacris, ODB and many others. The above song is the first song on the album and my favorite song.

You listen to BB King to fall asleep? That's messed up, man. He's not exactly what I call Mississippi Delta blues. It's all good, though. I feel ya
on some of it being very soothing, but most of BB's stuff is just face-melting to the point of beyond ridiculousness.

To fall asleep, I usually rely on XM Soul Town for that. Clarence Dobbins; Al Green; Gladys Knight; Earth, Wind & Fire; Marvin Gaye; Luther Vandross; The

TGG, I've been on a BB King kick lately. I listen to music to fall asleep and lately I have had a BB King station play on pandora when I fall asleep.
Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to determine which of the related artists I liked most because I would fall asleep.

I saw one of the best shows ever on Friday night. It was a Halloween Tribute show at Precient in Somerville. The first band was Hey Mama and they did a Led Zep
look. They played a few covers but did mostly their original work. They are this high energy rootsy bluesy sound. They are a band I would go out and see again.
They had a band called Turkuaz doing Talking Heads and they played very well too. They did mostly Talking Heads songs, a few songs I didn't recognize that
I assume were their originals songs. Then my absolute favorite band in the world Love in Stockholm came out as Sgt....

I would think using things like musical publications reviews is a better gauge of a band/ act's talent in their field. Using sales or something like the
Grammy's will just lead you to look at the billboard sales chart and determine the "best" act in a genre is the one who sold the most or who
exploded on the scene the loudest. At least people who review music for a living are a slightly better judge of
talent in a genre that they have or even groups of musical historians that can look back and come to some type of group conclusion. Of course in the end it
means nothing because judging art or music is all about personal preference and anybody who disagrees is basically envoking their inner 4 year old and telling
others what they like is not good. The debate at SOSH on Bill Simmons and the how to judge something based on what said thing is trying to accomplish is
really the crux here. I'm sure you can safely say that...
