TGG, I've been on a BB King kick lately. I listen to music to fall asleep and lately I have had a BB King station play on pandora when I fall asleep. Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to determine which of the related artists I liked most because I would fall asleep.

I saw one of the best shows ever on Friday night. It was a Halloween Tribute show at Precient in Somerville. The first band was Hey Mama and they did a Led Zep look. They played a few covers but did mostly their original work. They are this high energy rootsy bluesy sound. They are a band I would go out and see again. They had a band called Turkuaz doing Talking Heads and they played very well too. They did mostly Talking Heads songs, a few songs I didn't recognize that I assume were their originals songs. Please. Enlighten us as to why he sucks. The man has won eight Grammy's and has been nominated for 30. He's easily a top five Emcee of all-time, and that's being conservative. I'll be honest, I have no feelings in the matter either way, but... using Grammys as a barometer for musical talent is quite possibly worse than using Gold Gloves as a measure of fielding prowess.
